For the first time in 32 years since Korea-China diplomatic relations were established, China has allowed Koreans to enter the country without a visa for up to 15 days until the end of next year.

It used to be quite troublesome and expensive to get a visa for traveling to China, but now that those worries have disappeared, the number of Chinese tourists is increasing significantly.

So, I will tell you three things to keep in mind before traveling to China, if you are planning to.

 

 

1. It is good to know in advance that China can conduct foreigner distrust checks.

2. In China, you should not take photos of military facilities near tourist sites without permission.

 

 

3 In China, none of the apps used in Korea work. China blocks many popular sites through the Great Firewall, so Instagram, YouTube, Naver, Google Maps, etc. do not work.

They say you can install a VPN, but you should be careful because there is a risk of being caught in the anti-espionage law.
