When traveling for more than one night, this is cheaper than renting a car or taking a taxi. Sometimes, you will use this. Never rent this at full price!!

When you open the Socar app, there is something called Passport at the bottom left. Click on it.

If you sign up for a passport, you can immediately receive 70,000 won for car rental and 10,000 won for accommodation through Cafes.

Even if you look at the common benefits, you can receive unlimited coupons for a 50% discount on rental fees and

a 9,000 won late-night weekday rate without any restrictions on the car type.

But the key is that all these benefits are not for one month, but for 29,900 won per year, so if you calculate it monthly, it’s only 2,400 won.

This is an annual benefit, but in reality, if you have a chance to use Socar even once a year, this is much more profitable than the regular price.

When you actually choose a car and pay, you can see that there are passport coupons here. If you rent for more than one night,

the % discount is higher, so it’s better to get a 50% discount. If you rent for a short day, it’s better to use a 70,000 won discount coupon.

And if you look next to it, there’s a multi-pass that costs about 4,000 won per month, but it doesn’t have that many benefits…

If you’re a backpacker like me who doesn’t have a car and only rents one or two a year, I recommend using it at least once when you rent a car.
