Korean Legend Fruit

In Korea, pears are eaten raw, ground, and frozen, and even Michael Jackson was said to have tried them and fell in love with them…

Pears are the soul fruit of our country, with records of their cultivation dating back as long as 3,000 years. When Michael Jackson visited Korea for a concert, he praised Korean pears, saying, “Could the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil that Adam and Eve ate in the Garden of Eden be this delicious?” and when he went to the United States, he bought dozens of boxes on the plane, boasting a taste that is unrivaled in the world. That’s because Korean pears are crunchy and juicy, while Western pears are soft, tasteless, and not crunchy, so they are more like cooking ingredients to be eaten grilled or made into alcohol.

Compared to Chinese and Japanese pears, it is said to be superior in all aspects, including shape, texture, quality, and sugar content. In the US, Korean pears are called mysterious fruits, and they are called Korean Giant Pears worldwide and are established as premium fruits. However, China is even making counterfeit products of these, so Americans are now even coming up with methods for distinguishing them in order to taste the real Korean pears.
