Lately, I’ve been bumping into various places and getting hurt, so I’ve got a lot of scars. Since it is not enough to just attach a regular band, I often use a wet band. Today, I will tell you some useful tips for choosing a wet band at the pharmacy.
1. There are many cases where injuries occur while working outside. In those cases,
I’m worried about scars, so I use a moisturizing band and ointment from a pharmacy. At this time, there are always people who apply ointment and attach a wet band. Moisturizing bands use extracts to treat wounds in a humid environment,
but oily ointments can actually interfere with the humid environment. Instead, check to see if the band itself contains wound healing ingredients.
For bands containing Centilla asiatica, do not apply ointment and apply after washing. Even if you just attach the wet bandage, it helps heal the connected wound with Centella asiatica extract.
2. UV protection is important for acne, warts, and wounds after mole removal. This is because of pigmentation scars that occur due to sunlight.
When using a product with a UV protection factor of 50 or higher, it blocks both UV rays A and B, making it good for preventing scars, freckles, and blemishes.
3. When using an acne patch, do you keep leaving fingerprints or do you have to use inconvenient clamps to apply it?
If you use a stick-type product, you can easily apply it to the wound. When the band is attached,
it quickly becomes wrinkled and easily falls off after a while. Products with skin wrinkle processing adhere to the skin and do not fall off even when applied to curved areas. Please keep this in mind when choosing a band at the pharmacy.
