In your 30s, an annual salary of about 50 million won is only 20%. The actual take-home pay is about 360!!! That’s 20%. Then, do you know how long it takes for men to earn an annual salary of 50 million won??
It takes 6 years for large companies and 11 years for small and medium-sized companies. It’s tough ~ If you go to an average company in your 20s, you will never make 360 after taxes.
Even if you come straight from the military and get hired, it takes 11 years. You have to be 38 to earn 360 after taxes. So in reality, only 2 out of 10 men can bring home 3.6 million won after taxes. It’s unfair and frustrating, but this is the reality!! It’s a really hard world to live in.
