제주도에서 덜익은 감귤에 에틸렌가스는 뿌리는 사람들이 대거 적발되었는데 좀더 빨리 팔기 위해 익지도 않은 귤에 가스를 뿌려 노랗게 만든 후 판매를 했다고 하는데, 이렇게 적발된 감귤의 양이 무려 17톤이나 된다고 합니다

가스가 뿌려진 감귤인지 아닌지 확인하는 방법은 감귤의 꼭지를 확인하는 건데 귤은 노란데 꼭지가 검게 말라 있으면 착색된 감귤일 확율이매우 높으니 잘 골라서 사시길 바랍니다
